"Huntsville, Where Chickens Really do Cross the Road"‏ Sent: Tue 4/15/14 10:41 AM

Hello Mother,
Man, with all the photos from home, yall dont even need me! haha everyone looks so happy this week!!! i love to see that!
my week this week was a little bit crazy! we were on campus all week in the afternoons. Every day we make a board with the sisters and took it on campus and talked to people. i dont know if the missionaries over at the tute get this problem, but so many people want to argue with us and tell us that we are wrong and that the book of mormon is an "error.” we have found a few people that have been looking for us! so that is worth it. its really hard because there is a religious group on campus that is a super feel good religion. they have about 650 members and they flood the mall area where everyone is. they are so broad in their beliefs that just about all the student body is a part of it and the rest dont even want to talk about religion. its getting good though. we get a lot of people coming up to us and talking with us. we are handing out a lot of Books of mormon (Dropping Boms!!!) and pamphlets. so we feel like we are doing a whole lot of sowing! a cool miracle happened last week. we were standing talking to this guy on campus who just wanted to prove us wrong, when i see this guy with chains, baggy pants. he comes up and barges into our conversation saying "Brothers!!!" then he starts talking about how he is a member down in houston and is a student up at SHSU. he has been up there for a few semesters and just needed some "Mormon Brothers." we got him in touch with the institute and he is loving it. stories like that make everything worth it.
Teaching this week was pretty good. the investigator that wanted to meet last week was good. she was a bit frustrating because she kept shooting down our testimonies... with one word "BUT" it was slightly disheartening. looking back on it, it build my testimony of the Savior. how many times has he given me a miracle and tender mercy proving that he is there for me and i just say But and Wo Me, totally shooting down the Lord’s testimony to me that he is there and watches out for me. i kinda just made that connection. The Gospel is so true mom, its just amazing how it happens like this.
Well, it seems like everyone had a lot of fun when the lambsons and family came down. those kids are adorable! they are lucky, almost as lucky as me. chandler seems like an awesome dad. Dad, you are crazy, i loved the picture of you making the pancakes. Sterling, you rock!! i didnt mace myself this week, but a member brought a chili hotter than the ghost pepper. i may have to taken a nibble. Lace, you are looking super good! i love showing your video to investigators. i take the approach of "let me show you my family." then i leave their computer on mormon.org #SuperSneaky. Mom, i am glad you are working hard and living life. Ariel, keep it up, you are almost there.
well yall, we took photos in the blue bonnets this week. i hope you enjoy them.
love Elder Nymeyer
