I love to see the Temple‏ Sent:Mon 4/28/14 12:29 PM

Dear Mom Dad and everyone else not sitting on a cushion (Knights Tail Quote),
Well this week was awesome. for mom, its Week 6 of the transfer today so next Sunday i will get the call and if i do get it i will be out next Tuesday. i dont know if i am leaving. its so bitter sweet. i love this area but it has been one of the hardest. i was talking with the sisters and elder rios and we all agree that we have grown the most in this area. so who knows. i will let everyone know next Monday.
so this week we took our investigator, who has been struggling for the past couple of weeks, to the temple. we went with two of our members in a small car... we were smushed the whole way up listening to "Sons of Provo", but it was worth it. she has always had a lot of defensive questions and kept denying our testimony, but at the temple that just went away. as soon as we got on the grounds we felt the spirit. we walked around and just talked about what we do there and why we go so often. then Martin (the Big guy) asked if she wanted to go in. she gave him a look of "i cant go in"... and so we go into the waiting room and just sit there for a good ten minutes. i was looking and praying that she would feel the spirit and be changed by this. then martin pulls out his recommend and says " i am going to get my Buddy." we just let him do his thing and 5 minutes later he comes back and he has the temple president with him. he tells her what he does and gives a great little talk about how the temple is "Real." he then asks he if a family member who has pasted has been on her mind since she has been meeting with missionaries and she said she has. he testified to her that those people are on her mind for a reason, that they have accepted the gospel and want her to do their work. she just looked and nodded like she already knew it. it was so cool. i asked her how she felt afterwards and she wouldnt say. the only thing i could get out of her was " I feel really good." she went to a baptism that weekend and had goose bumps and good feelings the whole time. she told us over the phone that God has taken that doubting spirit out of her. she is making awesome strides.
Man, another crazy week for the family. Sorry to hear about Aunt Cheryl. i hope all goes well with her recovery. Dad, your letters are so crazy. be safe. Chandler, i hope SLC is going good for you. LAce I hope you feel better! keep being an awesome mom. Sterling and Ariel, yall are the best!
well we had interviews this week with president. this is our last interviews with him before he leave... i am so sad. i love that man so much!!! i am still learning from his example everyday. we saw the new president in a picture and he looks nice, 5 kids or so. he is younger too. i am really excited to meet him. well apparently we are talking in two weeks so i will see yall then!!!
