Dear Mom,
well this week was good. we got a loner car because our jeep got backed into. so we got a 2012 corolla. nothing is like the jeep, i really miss it, but that is besides the point.
the work is going good. the people we met at the donut shop are doing really well. we have started to really get in and teach them. they are really cool. they have a super cute 3 year old daughter, ha makes me excited to see little JP. Amy, the wife, is really starting to understand the book of Mormon. its really cool to see people start to grasp on to that book. it really can change lives.
there is a recent convert and her recently reactivated boyfriend. they are so awesome. he is working on getting the priesthood and going to the temple and we are helping him do that. he is so cool. a cool story happened with them this week. so we are driving around this week and its about 630 and we have nothing to do and we both think of the BF and send him a text. then about 30 minutes later he calls us and says that we need to go over there as soon as possible. so we get there and the RC has been having some nightmares and wants a blessing. well we offer to bless the home and to give her a blessing. we share a message of Joseph Smith and how he overcame darkness then sees the first vision. after that we give them the blessing and she asked me to be the voice and it was such a cool experience. the amount of love that was felt within that room was amazing. it really showed to me that the Lord cares about everyone of us. he knows all of our struggles and knows how to best help us. The Priesthood is real. this calling as a missionary is the real deal and nothing can stop God from hastening his work!
Well, it sounds like mom and dad had a pretty cool week. so much fun stuff yall are doing since i left, cruises and san diego. whats next, europe? ha Dad, you crack me up! how was the mustang? i was telling mom that i would support you getting a car like that! Sterling, good luck on the house search! Ariel, just keep being great! Lace and chan, i hope you are doing good. i did hear about yall this week. Nano, that is a really cute baby!!! congrats!
hmm the story of the week. so the one time driving dad’s tractor paid off. we were doing some service and they needed someone to drive a tractor... that one time gave me 100% more experience than everyone else. it was really fun. we had to move some dead brush into a big burn pile... nothing makes you feel more like a man than driving out of fiery smoke in a tractor. it was a lot of fun, but i found out why they dont allow burn piles in arizona... not the safest idea. ha
Love yall so much, have a great week!
