I Love Love‏ Sent: Mon 2/17/14 1:50 PM

 howdy mom!!!
This Texas is really starting to rub off on me, i can just feel my mouth beginning to slow down. its kinda a weird feeling. ha hopefully i wont sound like one of those rednecks when i get back!
the week was good. we are in a trio for sure. his name is Elder Rios. he was Elder Su'a's MTC comp, small mission right. so far everything is going well. So we are a zl, a dl and the new guy. we are teaching well and trying to work hard. its a little bit rougher than i anticipated but it just means i have to pray more. in fact its kinda just what i needed. our investigators are starting to open up to us. its really cool to see that as they keep commitments they start to get answers!
being on a mission makes me realize how the lord looks at us. all of us looking for the truth wanting to know all these things but if we dont put in any work or do our part then he cant help us. really this mission is the best thing ever... reading about cooper in the MTC and hayden in Brazil and Jake in Africa and Trent in Colorado makes me so happy. this mission has truly changed my life. in the early parts of my mission i knew i was changing, but i couldnt see it, and that made me frustrated. now at 14 months out i can truly say that the lord has changed me. better yet he is still changing me. i still have a lot more to go to be where he needs me to be. its just nice to know that i am on the right path. i am where i need to be. things dont have to be going just right or perfect to know that God is in every direction of my life. so Cooper, my Boy, learn to love your mission. love the work, love the study, love your companion, love up-hills, rainy days, door slams and mean people. i am so excited for you to go state side. you get a different look at what the gospel is. take this time to really understand the principals and doctrines!
well everyone sounds solid today. Mom is having a good week so everyone is having a good week, right? Yes, i got your package. Sterling and ariel, you guys are great. keep up the good work. Lace, i love you and miss you! JP is really adorable. sounds like she got a lot from her mom in the way she acts... it wont be too long before she is throwing toys out the door. :P Brian is so cool, keep me posted on him. if there is anything i can do let me know. Good luck dad on the Bid. Chandler, keep on keeping on!!!
Welp lots of crazy stories this week. like we got backed into by a youth (which reminded me of chandler’s story), stepped out of the car into a yard made of marsh land, broke a lady's porch to name a few, but this week i want to end with my Testimony of the love of the savior, tis the season right? I now know without a doubt that my Savior loves me. no ifs, ands or buts. he knows who i am, what i am going through, and what will make me better. he is perfectly late, early, and on time... always. He has put people in my path for a reason, and as i grow closer to him and show my love for him by keeping his commandments then my love for other people grows. i am more determined and have more patience for peoples’ mistakes. I love my Mission and everything about it. I say all of this in the name of OUR Savior, Amen.
