a cool miracle this week. we started making it a goal this week to study out of PMG every day this week. so for one of our lessons we walk in and a less active daughter of our investigator is there. she is going through classes to be catholic. and she started talking and me and elder field just went totally PMG on her. it was really go to see how the lord trusted us to have her there to teach her. it was cool.
yes the weather was nuts!! just one night it started to rain... then the rain got really cold... then the rain turned into ice... then when we woke up there was snow of the ground!!! haha all of houston literally shut down. it was actually really funny to see. all the utah people were confused on why everyone was so scared it wasnt that bad up in Huntsville, but i heard houston had it really bad. ice was everywhere. we took it pretty slow just to be on the safe side.
its good to hear from everyone!!! Dad, i want to go on a camp out so bad!!! i am super jealous that you are doing that with the teachers. ha "the Man Maker"? tell me how that goes, and dad dont hurt yourself. Sterling, you are awesome! keep it up. ha i hope the broncos win next week, but even if things dont work out, just know we all are here for you and love you! Ariel... Good luck... Chandler, have a safe ride with the boys this week. Lace, keep up all you do. i show off your video all the time. ha keep being an awesome mom. Mom, you are the best! whenever i go to the tute i think of all the good old times. ha
so the crazy story of the week. so the night when the snow came in we were kinda out in the boonies, and its had been raining for a little while now. we were on our way to a members when we made a wrong turn. as we are pulling over to make the u-turn we start sliding into the ditch. no worries, our jeep has 4 wheel drive.... nope we are stuck so bad we cant get out..... now, me as the passenger, is the guy who gets to go out and try to push it out... it was 28 degrees, pouring rain, and i was in a thin rain coat and a sweater.... it was a bad day! ha we were in the mud for a good 30 minutes trying to get out... soon we see people coming out to come talk to us. come to find out he pulled big 18 wheelers out of the snow in chicago for a living... and was willing to pull us out. that was a huge miracle. so by the time we are finished i am covered in mud, cold, and ready for some hot chocolate. we walk in our next appointment just covered in mud and all i say is "we had a bad experience" it was fun though.
well yall i am peaceing. i love all yall. be safe and stay warm. love you!!!
Elder Nymeyer
