hello mom,
so how are yall doing this week? i hope the
week went well for you guys. this week was super crazy. so on monday
night i got a phone call from the President asking if i would go zone
leader for a new zone that is getting formed. they
just split our zone, we had 32 missionaries which is super big, so they
needed two more zone leaders. Nothing changed, except I am a zone
leader, weird, I know. my zone leader comp is brand new as well and has
been out less time than me. so we are just running
around with our heads cut off. ha we have training tomorrow. his name
is Elder bladh (blade), he is a cool guy, really funny, short, he is in a
bike area. I am still with elder sua, elder bladh and I call and go on
exchanges when we have to do zone leader
things. President is doing this so he can have zone leaders train…. it
is kinda a temporary thing until the influx goes down. i have
been trying to understand all of the craziness. haha its not so bad. i
had stake correlation sunday and i was an hour late
to sacrament ha but its not that big of a deal. ha most things will
make more sense when i get my training tomorrow. ha. so i will let you
know how that goes.
we got sisters in our ward this last week. ha
that is nuts. we had to have a couple of meetings to try to coordinate
the efforts over here. so that is keeping us pretty busy. they are
awesome sisters. they love to work hard and thats
really all i can ask for. so i am pretty stoked for that.
our investigators are doing well. for some
reason everyone is getting really busy, so its hard to get on the same
schedule. i hope good things will be moving forward this upcoming
transfer and week.
Dads, man you are a busy guy, football,
work, keeping the house and yard clean, keeping thor in watch. you
deserve a gold medal. ha mom, you are awesome.
Okay, so the crazy/ maybe funny story of the
week. so here in magnolia we have the biggest Renaissance festival. its
all about knights and medieval times, aka super nerdy. so traffic here
gets really bad... traffic goes for miles all
day every weekend. ha so trying to avoid that lies the plague. well,
one time the GPS took us straight into the mouth of the devil, we were
stuck forever. then later that night we were walking down the road after
it has been raining for a big portion of the
day, we had to stay pretty close to the side of the road. then the
traffic, which was bumper to bumper, starts moving and this huge ford
truck almost hits us with its huge mirror, that was crazy. then he has
the nerve to honk at us. ha texans arent the best
drivers...its kinda sad. The other cool thing is that people dress up,
so now the town is getting infested with knights, elves, fairies and
other mythical creatures... yeah i dont know how i feel about that...
well i love you tons. miss you guys lots.
Elder Nymeyer
