Long Week in Conroe‏ Sent: Mon 4/08/13 7:54 PM

Dear mom and others,

This week was long. On wednesday every appointment fell through about
an hour before we had to be there... oh that was not good. Before we
got home that day we stopped by the Krogers and bought some Blue Bell
ice cream. i haven't told you this but Blue Bell ice cream is the only
stuff out here. its made in my mission and its the best ice cream ever
created. if you want to get Texan, go find some blue bell and there you
go. i don't know if its sold out of Texas, but if it is i would
recommend it. its a soul healer. ha well the next couple days after
that werent too much better. you just got to look on the bright side...
and my bright side was that i still had left over ice cream and
conference was that weekend. i loved it. i did take notes. it was a
good one. i love Neil l Anderson's talk. it was about missionary work,
so i guess thats why i liked it. the way he talks though, so awesome,
but they were all so good. we watched all sessions at the church. a
member invited us to eat lunch with them at the building, so we did. it
was nice. i told them that you would make cinnamon rolls for the Sunday
session. i didn't fall asleep all Saturday. just taking notes. trying
to take in that those are apostles and prophets of the Lord. the new
Utah temple is close to my comp's home, he was stoked. any news on the
Tuscan temple? so after priesthood, a member took us out to ice cream
with the aaronic priesthood, so fun. then the next morning we get to
the church and members (they are named the bass') made me cinnamon
rolls. oh i was in heaven. it started the day off right. on Sunday i
only fell asleep during oaks' talk. i did pretty good. then went to
some members for pancakes. it was a good day. so the conference made
this week worth it. McKenna is progressing good. i invited her to be
baptized. she is really hesitant, but still wants us to teach her. Our
other investigators are having trouble, either we can't go see them or
they just wont keep commitments, just frustrating.

it was awesome to see the big red couch again! i miss those darn
things. dad, sounds like you are doing good. its good to be busy!
sterling, keep up the track work. it will pay off more than it already
has. Ariel, keep being studyly and keeping sterling in line. lace, you
rock. soon you will be in your house again. chandler, you are going to
be a great dad. some of the talks were just for you! how cool is that.
mom, i hope your B day is going good. For my P day we are going fishing
again. i caught a huge one last week. well i will go. hope to hear from
yall soon.
