dear mom, so this week was so busy. we are really kicking it into over drive. we are trying to work our hardest to get the blessing, and lets just say i think the future looks good. we got a new investigator this week. shes 14 and really interested. she is best friends with a really good member in our ward. she is so good, smart too. anyway, we have another appointment with her this week. i will keep you posted. we have a recent convert moving into our ward from Las vegas. her daughter wants to be baptized and maybe her mother. i am so stoked. so conroe 1 might get another baptism this time around. they haven't had a baptism since may. i will keep praying and working. it is just fun. so to Tucson. it sounds awesome there. it has been in the 70's and 80's but the humidity does suck. it isnt so bad but every member says " Oh... you havent been here for a summer.... good luck." i get that all the time. ha well dad your letters are great. i can just picture you writing those things. funny stuff. Ariel, way to be a soccer all star. sterling.. you will get there one day. maybe your kids could be pretty good, fingers crossed. Chan, keep being you. lace, you are awesome. i just told elder Contrys that you said he looked jolly... "like Santa..." he says, lets just say he is hilarious. you sound so good. so a little miracle this week. Tuesday is a slow day, always. so we are going and an appointment cancels so we go visit a lady in the assisted living home behind our apartment. we get out of there about 55 minutes before our dinner appointment. so we start driving and i soon pull over cause i dont know where i am going... we think for about 3 minutes and we decide to go back to the apartment and study for that time. i wasn't too thrilled, but it was what we felt we had to do. so we did it. so during our studies we get a call from another elder down in spring. he wants us to visit a member in a assisted living home and give him a blessing. the same assisted living home right behind our apartment. i was so happy. i know it was a little miracle, but it was just a tender mercy of the Lord that He really does look after us and wants the best for us. so today for pday we are going fishing at the scout camp, its run by a member. hopefully, i can catch a lunker. haha and April fools day... i dont know what we are doing. i will let you know more next week. Easter, so during sacrament there was a talk and he said something about how he has a ham waiting for him at home and we looked at each other and just sighed. it was so sad. so we continued to get loads of candy. i got a Texas mug. its huge, Texas size for sure, but then we go to the members house for dinner and there is a ham. we got so excited . we are pretty funny, elder contrys and me, just to say. yes, i got your package, it was awesome. the legos were awesome. every candy carrot bag broke but i still ate them. the young women's package was good. i was expecting a letter in there but there wasn't. ummmmm i think thats it. oh for conference, i think we are going to the bishops house. its still up in the air. well i love all yall. you mean so much to me, always! im fixin' to catch me a lunker pretty soon. i will send pictures. love, elder "cowboy" nymeyer
