hello family,
this week was crazy!!! texas really doesnt know how to act. some days
its hot hot hot, then other days i have to wear my sweater! it needs to
make up its mind. one day it will. man, so what about the news. i
havent heard too much about it over here. i wonder what john justice
has to say on that or james T ha. thats one thing i miss. news talk
radio. man, i sound old. well transfers are this week. i dont think i
will move. i think elder G is going to be moving on. i could be wrong
though. the work is good. we have two baptism for this saturday! thats
right 2, there's a miracle that took place. so last zone conference we
got a few Media referrals (from people watching laceys video.... okay
just mormon.org) and so we called them up. we called this one from
California and it was from some missionaries. they were teaching this
woman and she got baptized and just moved into conroe. so we called her
and she didnt seem too happy. we would call or she would miss our
calls, would never call back, so we were like, we are just going to
stop by! we go over there and knock on the door and she answers and her
two daughters are there. we get talking about the other missionaries in
cali. then about ten minutes later the mom looks at us and says "so
when is my daughter going to be baptized?" me and contrys were
dumbfounded. they dont train missionaries to respond to that!!! so it
is this saturday. we have to teach her just a little bit more, but the
other missionaries did a good job. it will be fun! one of my members is
going down to tucson in June! when she told me that i was so stoked! i
really miss eegees!!! i know i cant get any, but i want it! i try to
explain it to people and the Utah people just look at me and say "a
slushy?" i want to slap them with love, but i restrain myself! conroe
is good!! i really do love the people down here!! everyone can supply a
small army with the amount of guns they have!! i have held guns i never
thought i would even see!! a 938 luger from world war II with the
papers and matching serial numbers, saiga shotgun, an AK-47 (dad, you
should buy that gun). a member has a AR-15 with an addition for it to
shoot 22 shells, amazing! ha we need to come back and shoot all of
these!
well it sounds like the dirty T is going well. lacey, i hope your paper
goes good, you rock. you have about a transfer till your baby. how
cool. i was watching the new mormon messages and thought all about you!
you are so lucky! babies are cool! chandler, way to be a good dad. she
is going to love you! Sterling, keep working hard. i am proud of you
for finally taking school for reals! Ariel is really good for you! ha
Ariel, you are amazing! keep up the good work. keep sterling pushing
forward. hows your new car? what color is it? i still havent seen it!
