Disbanding the Trio‏ Sent: Mon 7/28/14 2:12 PM

Dear Mom

Well mom its transfer week again. it feels like they just keep coming faster and faster. i dont know what to do with myself. before i know it, it will be thanksgiving, and i will be like where did all this time go? i do love it though. this mission is the best thing that i could have imagined. i remember talking to lacey before i left and she said how this is the only decision i will never have any regrets. so far i think she is going to be right, its awesome. i just learn so much every day. i learn more about myself than i ever thought i could. i am excited to see how these experiences will influence my life. i am sure it will be the major turning point for the rest of my life. i think every RM can say the same.
The transfer bug came this week and man did it have a bite. just about every companionship had a change. in westlake i am the only one staying. both elder anderson and satele are leaving me.  i wonder how this is going to work out. i should be fine, i mean its not much different than what i have done in my last areas. i am pretty sure they are putting the ZLs back together so that should be a nice change. i just hope i can be what this area needs from me.
This week was a strange week. we didnt have a whole lot of miles due to the fiasco last week so we put some miles on my bike. Oh and it was only the hottest week ever!!  it seems like no one wants to answer their door when its really hot outside. maybe they are afraid of losing all of their A/C.  i am not bitter... haha. Friday is when we just kept ridding and ridding. it was slightly rough but hey its all good down here. "Am i a sheep or a Warrior?" I’d like to say warrior.
This week at church was awesome. do you guys ever just have that week when the meeting was just for you! Yeah, this is how this week was for me. it was so awesome to see how the Lord came to comfort me. the Lord has perfect timing cause i really needed something like that this week. we also went to the temple and i had one of the most enlightening experiences there. it just seemed like there was someone pointing different things out to me. How does the Lord know each of us so perfectly? He knows what we need when we need it. Guys, this church is so true. this isnt just something to help us cope with life or trials but a real energy that comes from a being that is perfect in all ways, who created us, and loves us no matter what!
Well it sounds like everyone is having an eventful summer. so eventful that they are so busy they can barely write me! ;) haha i joke. Ariel, i am stoked to see new pics of your house! i hope all went well with sterling and dad having a ball at Football camp! Chandler and lace are happy home owners now, how fun is that. my siblings are awesome. i brag about yall all the time. ha
a cool miracle this week. so as we were biking a few weeks ago and we talked to these people outside their new house for a little bit. they were nice but a little disconnected from us. so this saturday we pass by the same house and this guy is cooking some burgers in his garage. we talk to him and he is a brother of the lady we talked to and we find out he is a less active member, we are like no way. we talk to him a bit but he lives is the McAllen area. it gets better… at church we see this family we dont know. so i go talk to them and they ask if we were the elders talking to their nephew. we say yes and they go on to say how the lady we first talk to a few weeks ago is a member baptized at 8, the husband isnt a member, and they have a 18 month daughter who they are going to try to get blessed in our ward... and they said that if it happens they will involve the missionaries in the process... now tell me the Lord wasnt guiding that!!!
well guys keep your eyes open for miracle because they are there and they will bless you now and forever... that is a fact!

Love
