A New Set of Wheels‏ Sent: Tue 7/22/14 11:21 AM

Dear Mom,
Man, talking to you was a little strange, i am not going to lie, ha but i am so glad to have a new bike. its much bigger than my old one. its a 21.5 frame with 29 inch rims. its weird riding a bike that fits me. it took me a little getting used to and i stumbled a little bit, but now i think i am getting this whole bike ride thing. i dont have any pictures or video of my bike... sad day, but i did accidently ride through a puddle as we were passing through a soccer field... good thing it was about 8 olcock and we didnt have any more set appointments. ha
this week we were all over the place. i had to do a few exchanges, we had Stake Correlation and just talking to everyone we see. Stake Correlation is awesome. something about being in a room where you have a Stake President and a Mission President with councilors and a High Council member over missionary work makes me feel a little bit under qualified. the thing is.. Im not! think about it, we all were called by the Lord to serve in these positions. the spirit is so strong in those meetings. even though its a lot of logistical things being discussed, there is still so much love for the people of the Katy Area. MLC is in a few more weeks. we didnt have one this whole transfer. i cant wait till we get to see what President Mortensen is bringing to the mission.
we had a pretty cool thing happen to us this week. we stopped by a lot of less actives. one day right before dinner, we get a call from an unknown number. we answer it and it a member from another ward who is less active and wants to come back to church. as we were talking to him we get another call from an unknown number and its a less active who we left a note on his door with our number and he called it... how cool was that!!! no one ever calls the number on the card. i guess we just never know who the spirit will touch and work on.
everyone sounds so good this week. Dad seems a little busy, but what is new! Also, i want to go riding with you when i get back. you may be a little bit more in shape, but i could tag along behind you.  i want to take my bike down some sweet hills, so find a way to make that happen. :) My siblings are all moving into their houses with an extra room... i am so lucky to be in an amazing family. i dont know how other people live.
we are so lucky to be in this gospel.  it really can heal all wounds, make everything fair, and always bring a smile to our face. there is nothing in this world that prayer, scripture study and Church cant help!
 i love you all
