The Long Move to Katy‏ Sent: Tue 6/24/14 3:09 PM

Dear Family,

Well, this is a little crazy, as we all know i got transferred. i am now in a town in the south of the mission called Katy. just take the I-10 15-20 hours and take the Fry Exit and you will be at my apartment. its really strange, but its nice to feel a little at home here in this new area. Transfers are always hard, going from one place that you know everything thats going on to knowing absolutely nothing. i feel like i am just a dead weight, but it will get better this week. just got to be patient, right?
We aren’t working with anyone really exciting at the moment, but we are working hard. this area drives a van, but we go biking some days. i had to get a bike from a less active member. i went biking for the first time on friday... i did alright. i only biffed one time. i was trying to take a corner too fast and went into the road then tried to get back on and just crashed pretty hard core, a little scrap on my elbow, but i am doing just fine. my butt hurt for about... it still kinda hurts. my legs are alright, just a little sore!
I am in a Trio. Elder Anderson and Satele. Anderson is from Gilbert Arizona. he is a good guy, besides the fact that he is a ASU fan..., but we are overcoming our differences. he has been out a year, has been here 5 transfers, he is getting ready to get out of here, but we are working hard, and he is the other zone leader with me. Finally in a companionship with the other zone leader. My new zone has 14 companionships. its one of the biggest in the mission. Elder Satele is from America Samoa, ha he is funny, a little crazy, but that is to be expected! he has short ties and it reminds me of sterling. ha
Well, thanks for the videos. its so strange to see zoey swimming. that hasnt happened ever in that pool. i am glad everyone had fun at lake powell. sorry about all the rats! i am glad you guys had such a victory in the end! ha i am glad Aaron came and had a good time. Dad, you are looking really good. maybe when i leave this area i will look as good as you! ha Lace, i hope little JP is feeling better. Chandler, i hope you get home safe. Ariel, i am glad you are liking your job. I hope all goes well.
Well, i love all of you! please remember that the church is true, and the gospel of Jesus Christ really can make a huge change in your life!
Love Elder Nymeyer
