well hello family, this is your beloved son Elder Nymeyer.
this week was fun. getting down off the
spiritual high of that amazing baptism last week. we thought this week
would be a down turn, nope.
transfers were last week. I am still in good old
Mag-Town. I really do love it here. the ward is really starting to get
moving. I love seeing that. being a part of that. people are telling us
of people we should go see. everyone is willing
to come out with us and help us teach.
we saw Jason this week. the one with the cool
bike and beard. we love stopping by to see him. we need to be more bold
with him but in his own words "the seed is planted." he leaves to go
off shore pretty soon. he will be off for 6 weeks.
yeah... that will be really rough. he knows a few members in our ward
and likes them. I just need to put the two together.
we got a referral for this old couple. they
are the cutest things ever. ha we did service for them. we had to pick
some pears off their tree. when we got there the wife had already baked a
pear pie, so good. ha then after the pie we
fished for turtles... this is service because they were eating the baby
ducks... and no one wants baby ducks to die. so we threw some "chow"
and I tried my hand at cast a net. becoming a fisher of turtles for a
little bit. after that he bought us 80 dollars
of KFC..... lets just say I can still feel the MSG coming through my
pores.
Man, everyone looks so good. Conway and elli
look so big. I cant believe J will be that big when I get home, wow...
ha well, sounds like the baby blessing went good. ha that is a cool
experience for a dad. we had a baby blessing this
sunday as well. so I felt like I was kinda there. there is a proud
uncle in Texas somewhere. ha so I am looking at the picture of the
blessing right now. everyone looks soo good. dads gotee is kinda
throwing me off a little bit. Ha, but the family looks awesome.
it is still a weird thought that my room is now a nursery.... I will
get over it. ha sterling, that was cool that you got to coach some
football. I drive by the high school over here all the time. I always
see the kids out there for practice. ha I am missing
it a little. I wanna get on the nymeyer coaching train. maybe me and
chan will have to go coach basketball somewhere. ha who knows. ha ariel,
you are awesome as always. ha lace, you just look like a mom in all
these photos. I just found out that there were
a heap tons of juniper pictures on that drop box contraption. the photo
shoot was awesome. I have the cutest niece of all time.
Well, I will send this off. today we are
hanging out with the zone. meeting the new missionaries who came in this
transfer. ha I love all of yall
elder nymeyer
