JUst another week in the THM‏ Sent: Mon 9/22/14 5:11 PM

Hey Mom,
so all that rain that hit the dirty t came right this way, we got hit with the rain all week. so the biking was a little rough this week. we got a little wet!! but the members are really accommodating and let us take a break on the porch and such!
we are trying to start teaching a lot of the members some of the lessons. our ward mission leader is trying to get everyone hooked on the book "the power of everyday missionaries" and its pretty cool. if you guys want to read it i highly recommend it! it is an awesome book. it puts missionary work in a more modern setting. so its an awesome way to look at it.
we also are working with a lot of the youth and supporting them. so this week we went to a musical production put on by the schools and about 5 mormons were in it. so we went to show that we care and what not!!! it was really fun. the money in these schools are so intense! texas knows how it is supposed to be done! ha.
Friday was a pretty cool story. we were coming back from a district meeting and it got a little bit more foggy because of a burning car. come to find out there is a guy inside. so elder Graves and Barney go to help while elder haris and i go to the school for help.  it was crazy, he got out of the car but he was on something pretty heavy. he hit a car on his way through the intersection.
this sunday was a mission president fireside. it was awesome. there was so many recent converts and musical numbers. there was a missionary choir that was supper awesome. we couldnt get any investigators out, but maybe next time.
sounds like everyone is having a lot of fun. hope everything continues to get better!!! hmmm my birthday package. i think i will send birthday packages home! i have a lot of stuff out here!!! but just some love, i really dont need much!
well everyone, sorry its super short, but i dont know what else to talk about. love ya tons!
