hey mom,

this week was good, its already week six. how crazy is that, time flies.... some times. weeks go fast though. i had to do a lot of exchanges this week. which was good. it was the first time i didnt have to lead it and i learned a whole lot. the zone leader was from Canada, so i felt a bit closer to Zach and Emily. haha last saturday we baptized an investigator. Avery duncan, he is 17 years old. such a bundle of joy. he is so willing to hear the gospel and to pray about it. the rest of our  investigators need to work on that. we have sorta lost touch with one and the other one is just slow and steady. i will keep you posted. i just want to find a family. they stress that so much out here but its one of the hardest things to do. so prayer and faith are some big things i need to work on. ha its just a tad rough out here, ya know.

so last night i was calling in for numbers and the sisters in my district didnt answer their phone. i was getting so worried about them. the power was out where they lived so i was even more worried about them. i didnt get a hold of them till about 10:20. i felt like you mom. haha this member in our ward is super into knives, and he loves us. i have got a total of 5 knives from that man, and let me tell you they are awesome. i will send a few home so i dont lose them. i do that some times. 

so it was awesome that elder cunningham was there. what did you tell him? did he ask about me? i love that man. i sure hope my wife wants to go camping with me when i am married, that would be awesome. i am glad Ariel had a good time. sterling is the man, still laugh when I think Junebug pooed on you. Chandler, you are the man. I think Junebug might look like you, but a lot cuter. Lace, i cant imagine you as a mom for some reason but i am sure you are doing fine. i mean you were like my second mom for my whole life. haha dad.... loved your letter, I love the black. haha mom, you are awesome. i miss you. 

so the 4th of july in texas is crazy. fireworks were going off all day, and the ones at night were awesome. everything is bigger in texas right?? we had a breakfast too. we were prossed up, we had so many pancakes, our investigator was there. I do wish members brought more non members, ha it was good though. i hope i woulda made sterling, the "missionary critic" happy. haha
