Dear Mother and Friends,</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px;"> well where to start, this week was a little bit on the super crazy side. so needless to say that the week flew by. last monday we said goodbye to just about everyone. it was a lot of going to and fro. tuesday i got put with another trainer who you might remember, elder mortimer. he was my companion in magnolia. ha short guy with thick glasses. so we were companions for two days. it was good to talk about old times. then thursday came super fast, like a lot faster than i thought it would come. on thurday morning i got elder Oliveira. funny because Cooper is leaving this month, one going to brazil, and one left brazil, Elder Oliveira! ha</span></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
so we are rocking it over here. we are really working on talking to everyone and giving solid member commitments. our ward mission leader is the man, and he is working really hard to help us keep busy. he is such a good guy.</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
we taught this guy named Mekhi yesterday. he is a less active from another ward who is always at a members house. it was my first restoration lesson in a while and yeah i was a little rusty, ha but it went well. elder O did a great job. he really is going to be a super awesome missionary. He is hard working and always happy. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
everyone sounds good at home. Sterl, love your beard. Ariel, you are great. Chan, i hope you love your floor and cabinets. Lace, Congrats on another Hall of Fame. ha Dad, rocking the Van... nice, and dont fall. i learned that one too. ha mom, you are a stud!!!</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
well guys i will let ya go. i hope you all have a great week and read your scriptures! </div>

<span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px;">Dear Mom,</span></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 20.8266677856445px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px;"> </span><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px;"> Well this week is good. we are working hard and it feels good. something about being on a bike makes you really feel like a missionary. like this week we were leaving a member’s house who speaks mostly Chinese and their kid is struggling, a lot. the mom asked us come over and visit with the family. When we left we saw a lady talking to her friend and we over hear that she is talking about us. we end up talking to her for about an hour. she studies religions and loves ours. she actually said that she knows its the truest one out there and that she would be a member if her husband and family were not so against it. so we will see her at a family history fair in a few weeks and that will be awesome! there really are people out there who want to hear this gospel, sometimes we lose sight of that.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px;"> well something hit me this week in my studies, the atonement is so powerful and real. now every missionary says this but the enabling power of the atonement really kicked in this week for some reason. i am trying to stay focused and diligent all the way to the end and sometimes that is just so hard. i am so thankful for this power that gives all of us the power to do the things we need to do to make this world a better place.</span></div>

Hey Mom,</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<span style="background-color: transparent; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px;"> so all that rain that hit the dirty t came right this way, we got hit with the rain all week. so the biking was a little rough this week. we got a little wet!! but the members are really accommodating and let us take a break on the porch and such! </span></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
we are trying to start teaching a lot of the members some of the lessons. our ward mission leader is trying to get everyone hooked on the book "the power of everyday missionaries" and its pretty cool. if you guys want to read it i highly recommend it! it is an awesome book. it puts missionary work in a more modern setting. so its an awesome way to look at it.</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
we also are working with a lot of the youth and supporting them. so this week we went to a musical production put on by the schools and about 5 mormons were in it. so we went to show that we care and what not!!! it was really fun. the money in these schools are so intense! texas knows how it is supposed to be done! ha. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
Friday was a pretty cool story. we were coming back from a district meeting and it got a little bit more foggy because of a burning car. come to find out there is a guy inside. so elder Graves and Barney go to help while elder haris and i go to the school for help. it was crazy, he got out of the car but he was on something pretty heavy. he hit a car on his way through the intersection. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
this sunday was a mission president fireside. it was awesome. there was so many recent converts and musical numbers. there was a missionary choir that was supper awesome. we couldnt get any investigators out, but maybe next time.</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
sounds like everyone is having a lot of fun. hope everything continues to get better!!! hmmm my birthday package. i think i will send birthday packages home! i have a lot of stuff out here!!! but just some love, i really dont need much! </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px;">well everyone, sorry its super short, but i dont know what else to talk about. love ya tons!</span></div>

Sent: Mon 9/15/14 2:23 PM<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
dear mom!!!!</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px;"> i am okay. just so everyone knows. Yes, i am still a zone leader but i think i will let down next transfer. i moved literally in the same district about 10 miles away. the apartment isnt as big but a lot nicer. i am in katy 3rd ward, its really rich. i have been in some of the biggest and amazing houses! its so crazy!!! also i am on a bike, so i am hurting so much!!!! it will be good for when i go home and can my bike with dad. my legs are getting pretty big now, ha i am so excited. </span></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
the ward over here is really nice. everyone is really successful and loves the missionaries. so i have been given a lot of free food and things over here. its really cool to be in a ward that loves missionaries. they are so willing to do just about anything for you. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
hmmm what is kinda cool to tell you.. we had a baptism this week in the area. i only taught him half a lesson and did his interview. he is an awesome guy who contacted the missionaries through <a href="http://mormon.org/" style="color: blue; cursor: pointer; font-weight: inherit; line-height: 22.7199993133545px;" target="_blank">mormon.org</a>. the youth in this ward are amazing. there are 17 priests, and a lot of them are active. we are working with them to keep them on the straight and narrow. it will be really fun. i cant wait to get in with them. its funny to think i was in their shoes not too long ago. missions are weird cause you think they are so old and wise before you leave and when you come back you are so young. wow. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
hmmm i hope yall didnt get rained on too hard. we got caught in the rain this week. its not super fun biking in that stuff. ha</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
also, we went to a Alzheimer center and did some service there. i showed a lot of people pictures of dogs. man did i have a ball. they were all over those pictures of dogs. well all but one but we still had fun! there was this lady named sue who came in and just started getting in everyone’s business and all the old people were like, no Sue and she just kept smiling. ha its was kinda sad to see how such</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
awesome people are trapped in their own bodies. thank goodness for the atonement, right.</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
well i hope sterling is feeling better, he sounded pretty pooped. good luck on all the track stuff my man. are you coming to college station anytime soon? Lace, you are a boss. Chandler, i hope you are doing good. Dad, sorry about the game, good luck this week!!! Ariel, i love you tons. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.7199993133545px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
hmmm well guys life is going too fast. i cant imagine all this is just slipping away, but it is all working out well. i am loving every second of it. the weather is getting nice and people are starting to be outside. i hope yall are having a good time in your life, be safe and say your prayers. </div>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;"> First is first, i did write on a tuesday two times before this one. Ha, but today was a crazy day. really kind of a sad one. this morning we had Transfer meeting. Elder Barney got transferred, so we had to make the hour trip to the mission office. while i was there i saw all my friends who are going home. Man, that is so weird. the sisters that came out while i was in the beginning of my mission are going home. i was laying down the other day and thought that my mission will never end. the thing is i am totally okay with that. feeling this spirit and trying to bring others closer to Christ is really the best thing i can do. just this morning we were driving back from the meeting with some other elders and we stopped by Chick-fil-A and when we finished our meal this man walks up to us and says that he has been to church two times and doesn’t know what ward he is in. we ask him if he was a member and he said "I am working on it." I cant make this stuff up!!! Unfortunately, he isn’t in our area but i talked to the missionaries there and they are solid and will take good care of him. I truly will miss these opportunities where the spirit of the Lord so easily works through us without us even knowing. Hopefully, the same will happen when i get home. that’s what it is all about, right. being able to be a missionary all the time.</span></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
Well weeks are getting busy. we had to do the more Administer type work this week than ever before. we have been going to everyone’s companionship studies. that has been really cool. we go and talk about our zone’s goals and how they can achieve these goals! so that has been fun. we also had to set up some family history training for our zone. preparing for getting some Ipads, hold your applause! Hopefully, we will get them before my birthday, but who knows it might even have to be at christmas. lets hope its the first one so i get to use them and get out of the stone age! we also had MLC this week with the Zone meeting later in the week. it was focusing a lot on family history and how we should be using it to find and teach. it was different because there wasn’t really any training. it was really just a lot of announcements. so this was one of the only trainings we had to do with training wheels. i think it went really well, hopefully they got something out of it. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
Man those “germies” looked so good. i miss breakfast, no one cooks breakfast like the nymeyer household. we should open up a restaurant or something. Sounds like everyone had an eventful Labor Day! Yes, i got your package. i laughed really hard. i loved it . dad, that is an awesome picture of the snake. i miss those stories. Lace, i hear you did work at the tailgate. its seems like a good week of sports in the Nymeyer Life. Dorados dominated and Wildcats crushed them, its a good day. Sterl, you rock. i hear you did something good in school, way to be. Ariel, how is zoey? Chan, keep up the work and keep your head up!!! </div>

Man, so a pretty cool thing this week. Friday night we got invited by a less active to go to a card store to watch a card tournament. we walk in and elder barney is in love because this is one of his favorite games to play. we start talking to this guy and he is like "are you guys Christen?" and from there we start talking. he is going to a church but doesn’t love it. he studies out of the bible everyday with his dad and has the highest standards i have seen on someone that young. we get to the point where he wants us to come by and have bible study with him, i am pretty excited about this. we went back yesterday and started talking and playing with him and another kid because they were out of school. come to find out, the friend is a less active member of a ward in our stake. they lord really does put us in places where we need to be! we just need to be willing and worthy to go and do it. i have seen the Lord bless me in this great and marvelous work. i hope you all can feel the same in your missionary service. </div>

man what a crazy week. we had Zone Conference this week!!! that was fun. its strange to see all the sisters that are going home bear their testimonies because i was there when they came into the mission... the mission really has the power to change just about everyone. i cant imagine how the president must feel seeing all these missionaries grow and learn, how cool is that. the lord really does have a way to nurture everyone of his children. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
after ZC we had a stake correlation with the stake president and president mortensen, that was lot of fun. we role played with him and he loved it. it was really fun to see that work out. i feel so blessed to have the opportunity to be around such inspired men. i can honestly say that they have helped me grow so much!!! </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
monday night we had a church pool party. it was super awesome. sister king and elder harris got pushed in. elder harris got thrown in by the bishop so we cant complain too much. we got him back though... ha good times, good times. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
Man, my family sounds awesome. Dad is just a boss. the Lord rewards an honest man. we were talking about that yesterday with a member. he will provide when we keep the commandments. plus i think you will be ready for the tour. you will have to pull a red eye... lets just not have a double leg cramp this time :). Ariel is a boss. how does it feel not to have school? on the flip side, sorry sterlo about having school start today! good luck and just stay happy! Lace you rock. you had a photo shoot for at alumni mag? there is a member who has one of those so i will have to look for you in it soon. when does it come out? Chan, i feel like you are rolling like a big shot now. you are awesome. </div>

Dear Mom,</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<span style="font-size: 12pt;"> howdy everyone. man what a week. i am so thrashed... i have never had to drive so much my whole mission. one of the missionaries in the zone had to go to the hospital for some heart troubles. I had to go pick up his companion and then work with him in his area for a little bit. the next day we had to go back to pick up his companion in the hospital. he got discharged but is getting sent home. Had to take him home, help him pack, and then the next morning take him to the airport at 8am. so that was a little crazy being at the airport... i really didnt expect to see the airport again till December... oh well. then we lost our car... we spent about 30 minutes walking around the parking garage pushing the button to find the car... little did we know we were in the wrong garage... my excuse was that it was early!!! </span></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
so with all of the traveling, missionary work was not the highest. which come to finds out affects you as a missionary. when missionaries arent teaching things just dont flow right! so everyone, find your nearest missionary and ask if they are teaching a lot. if they answer no, or a little bit, invite them into your home right away and have them teach. trust me, they will love you. then the double bonus is that you have a spiritual message in your home to uplift you. i think its a win win. if you ask me. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">

Lace is a boss, starting a new job, and doing swim clinic, and having a 14 month old child, and moved into a new house in the month, and writes her brother. she is amazing. Dear Mom and Thor and Zoey, </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<span style="font-size: 12pt;"> well this week just kept me busy for sure!!! we went to MLC tuesday. it was president mortensens first one so that was interesting. he so good at speaking and teaching. we learned about "Master Teaching," so good. i am still trying to understand if other missions have the same kind of mission presidents i do. i mean these two guys have taught me so much about everything, more than i ever thought i could learn. they are very different in the way they work with missionaries, but they have a similar spirit about them that just lets you know they are called of God. </span></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
so this saturday i got invited up to huntsville for a baptism of a person i started teaching, Franklin is his name. i had to get a ride, so we took a member who is thinking about serving a mission. the only thing is he has never driven outside of katy before. For your information, huntsville is about 2 hours away, freeway driving through downtown houston....yeah, we were pretty scared not going to lie. we were all praying so hard to not get in an accident. the lord protected us all the way down so that was good. it was so good to see everyone up in huntsville. so many people gave me so much love. i really think that huntsville is my favorite place, but i also love magnolia. i just cant decide. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
We had a Zone meeting friday and it was intense. it was my first one in the katy zone. it was a lot bigger than any other zone i have been in. katy is the biggest zone in the mission, so that was really fun to do. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
we had Stake Conference this weekend. a member of the 70 came, Elder Romeo Villareal. he was super awesome to listen to. The missionaries were asked to sing "Spirit of God," that was really cool. we had the stake sing the last verse with us. it was so much fun to listen to the spirit of that song come and just hit us in the face. i loved it. most of conference was about temples and covenants. it was cool to have the spirit testify to me of all of those truths. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
man Dad i saw your video... how awesome are you!!! Mom, you are awesome as always. Sterling, keep up the good work. i so want to get into coaching when i get back!!!! you guys looked like you have so much fun doing that!!! ha Lace, you got the Hook Up!!!! good thing your favorite brother, the one you havent seen in two years, comes home right before basketball season... just saying! haha Ariel, stay busy and fun! Chandler, i hope all is going well for you!!! i cant wait to ride our bikes together. you guys might smoke me cause you guys got fancy bikes! </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
This week i was really thinking about the calling of the priesthood and i thought of some cool stuff. president Allen (stake President) said that the priesthood is just like any other calling. the saturday night session talked about how the temple allows the priesthood to be used to the fullest. so i was thinking in missionary work i use the Lord to help me in my calling to find, teach and baptize. so the Lord will equally bless us for temple work and priesthood callings. i thought that was kinda cool because i am spending two years to understand how to enlist the Lord for help in missionary work, but that is really just preparing me to enlist the same help in everything else i need!</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
i love your guts everyone. keep reading and praying and know that the Lord is watching over you</div>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;"> well transfers came this week and i am back in another Trio, i am really excited about it though. its Elder Harris, who just came from Magnolia so he knows all my peeps, and Elder Barney who was a spanish elder who came out with me. he goes home a transfer before me so maybe i will kill him off. elder harris is the zone leader. its good though i love these guys. i haven’t laughed this hard my whole mission. we left an appointment and just had an awesome group hug, so it was all good. ha.</span></div>

We had a lot of cool miracles this week. the first day with the new trio we had a dinner with a less active and she invited a friend of hers and she invited 2 of her friends. so we asked if we could teach them and they said yes. we are working on a return appointment. the other night we were deciding if we wanted to go to taco bell or home for dinner. We go to taco bell and run into a member from sugerland and his cousin in law who has moved into our ward and need us to stop by. then as we are leaving we start talking to an employee and he asked us what church we go to and says he wants more Christ in his life. really nothing in this life is more rewarding than that, and even if nothing happens beyond this, how cool is that. i helped someone even just think about coming closer to Christ. i hope we can get to teach all of them, but if not i still love them. loving the people makes everything so much easier. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
man everyone is sounding really good back at home. Good luck lace on you new job, you rock. Ariel, you are a boss. Sterlo, you are awesome. Chan, i hear you are doing work on your back yard... awesome! Dad... dont die... and always remember Cheat to win... if you’re not cheating you’re not trying hard enough. ha mom, i am glad everything is going well for you. Happy birthday GGN </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
well the Lord knows who we are, and the atonement is real. Christ really does love us and this life really is our time to prepare to meet God. </div>

Dear Mom</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal">
Well mom its transfer week again. it feels
like they just keep coming faster and faster. i dont know what to do
with myself. before i know it, it will be thanksgiving, and i will be
like where did all this time go? i do love it though.
this mission is the best thing that i could have imagined. i remember
talking to lacey before i left and she said how this is the only
decision i will never have any regrets. so far i think she is going to
be right, its awesome. i just learn so much every
day. i learn more about myself than i ever thought i could. i am
excited to see how these experiences will influence my life. i am sure
it will be the major turning point for the rest of my life. i think
every RM can say the same.
</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal">
The transfer bug came this week and man did
it have a bite. just about every companionship had a change. in westlake
i am the only one staying. both elder anderson and satele are leaving
me. i wonder how this is going to work out.
i should be fine, i mean its not much different than what i have done
in my last areas. i am pretty sure they are putting the ZLs back
together so that should be a nice change. i just hope i can be what this
area needs from me.
</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal">
This week was a strange week. we didnt have a
whole lot of miles due to the fiasco last week so we put some miles on
my bike. Oh and it was only the hottest week ever!! it seems like no
one wants to answer their door when its really
hot outside. maybe they are afraid of losing all of their A/C. i am
not bitter... haha. Friday is when we just kept ridding and ridding. it
was slightly rough but hey its all good down here. "Am i a sheep or a
Warrior?" I’d like to say warrior.</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal">
This week at church was awesome. do you
guys ever just have that week when the meeting was just for you! Yeah,
this is how this week was for me. it was so awesome to see how the Lord
came to comfort me. the Lord has perfect timing
cause i really needed something like that this week. we also went to
the temple and i had one of the most enlightening experiences there. it
just seemed like there was someone pointing different things out to me.
How does the Lord know each of us so perfectly?
He knows what we need when we need it. Guys, this church is so true.
this isnt just something to help us cope with life or trials but a real
energy that comes from a being that is perfect in all ways, who created
us, and loves us no matter what!
</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal">
Well it sounds like everyone is having an
eventful summer. so eventful that they are so busy they can barely write
me! ;) haha i joke. Ariel, i am stoked to see new pics of your house! i
hope all went well with sterling and dad having
a ball at Football camp! Chandler and lace are happy home owners now,
how fun is that. my siblings are awesome. i brag about yall all the
time. ha
</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal">
a cool miracle this week. so as we were
biking a few weeks ago and we talked to these people outside their new
house for a little bit. they were nice but a little disconnected from
us. so this saturday we pass by the same house and
this guy is cooking some burgers in his garage. we talk to him and he
is a brother of the lady we talked to and we find out he is a less
active member, we are like no way. we talk to him a bit but he lives is
the McAllen area. it gets better… at church we
see this family we dont know. so i go talk to them and they ask if we
were the elders talking to their nephew. we say yes and they go on to
say how the lady we first talk to a few weeks ago is a member baptized
at 8, the husband isnt a member, and they have
a 18 month daughter who they are going to try to get blessed in our
ward... and they said that if it happens they will involve the
missionaries in the process... now tell me the Lord wasnt guiding
that!!!
</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal">
well guys keep your eyes open for miracle because they are there and they will bless you now and forever... that is a fact!</div>

Dear Mom,</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<span style="background-color: transparent; font-size: 12pt; text-align: center;"> Man, talking to you was a little strange, i am not going to lie, ha but i am so glad to have a new bike. its much bigger than my old one. its a 21.5 frame with 29 inch rims. its weird riding a bike that fits me. it took me a little getting used to and i stumbled a little bit, but now i think i am getting this whole bike ride thing. i dont have any pictures or video of my bike... sad day, but i did accidently ride through a puddle as we were passing through a soccer field... good thing it was about 8 olcock and we didnt have any more set appointments. ha </span></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
this week we were all over the place. i had to do a few exchanges, we had Stake Correlation and just talking to everyone we see. Stake Correlation is awesome. something about being in a room where you have a Stake President and a Mission President with councilors and a High Council member over missionary work makes me feel a little bit under qualified. the thing is.. Im not! think about it, we all were called by the Lord to serve in these positions. the spirit is so strong in those meetings. even though its a lot of logistical things being discussed, there is still so much love for the people of the Katy Area. MLC is in a few more weeks. we didnt have one this whole transfer. i cant wait till we get to see what President Mortensen is bringing to the mission. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
we had a pretty cool thing happen to us this week. we stopped by a lot of less actives. one day right before dinner, we get a call from an unknown number. we answer it and it a member from another ward who is less active and wants to come back to church. as we were talking to him we get another call from an unknown number and its a less active who we left a note on his door with our number and he called it... how cool was that!!! no one ever calls the number on the card. i guess we just never know who the spirit will touch and work on. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
everyone sounds so good this week. Dad seems a little busy, but what is new! Also, i want to go riding with you when i get back. you may be a little bit more in shape, but i could tag along behind you. i want to take my bike down some sweet hills, so find a way to make that happen. :) My siblings are all moving into their houses with an extra room... i am so lucky to be in an amazing family. i dont know how other people live.</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
we are so lucky to be in this gospel. it really can heal all wounds, make everything fair, and always bring a smile to our face. there is nothing in this world that prayer, scripture study and Church cant help! </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">

Dear Mother Dearest,</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">

Well, yall are probably itching to hear how President Mortensen is. we met him this Wednesday. he is very different from President Pingree, but oddly familiar. before we left to go meet him, i prayed that i could see the mantle switch from the two presidents. When we walked, in my first thought... this is no President Pingree, but i wanted to give him a fair chance. so he and his family get up and start introducing themselves. then President Mortensen gets up and does a small little training on covenants. it was so good. he also talked about how in his mission there were a few missionaries that were disobedient and how that changed the way the mission went and his mission is barely now recovering. he called a few of us to repentance, but it wasnt a harsh. it was in such a way that i could feel that he just wanted this mission to be the best it can be. he is also really funny. i like the guy. i think he is exactly what this mission needs. so far i hear everyone else likes him too, but we all know that he means business. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
so in other news, we rode our bikes a lot this week. Man, let me tell you my legs hurt. something about being in a car for 18 months isnt good on my legs. it feels really good to be out and riding around. a funny thing that happened this week... well, i got a few, is we were riding around and i go to turn onto a sidewalk and i turn the wheel a little too sharp and the rim just kinda... collapsed... it was intense. we got another one and fixed it the next day. then later that day after we fixed my tire, elder anderson broke his chain. so we were thinking of what to do and i had some Para cord on my bag that i braided so we tied him to elder Satele and we towed him home... it was pretty crazy. we made it home safe, but just had some stories to tell.</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
the work is moving along now. we are struggling to find people, but i feel like every missionary has that problem. we thought about trying to work through the members a lot more. its quite the feat to try to combine our works as missionaries with the ward. they just dont know how to work with us. so thats what we are working on. something that hit me is missionary work is so easy. all members need to do is put the missionaries in a situation with the non member friend. Boom, then we can talk to them and make an invite and if they say no then no big deal, its now on the missionary and not the member. being a missionary makes me excited to be a member missionary. i wish i would have done more missionary work as a youth. that is one of my biggest regrets before my mission, but that will make me a better member missionary. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
Well, it sounds like people at home are doing well. the picture of sterling and ariel is really funny. Dad, you are a boss. riding a bike with a bee stinging your ear.... impressive. Lace, i hope your house is going well. Chandler, you rock. Mom, keep working hard. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
let me tell you, after being in Texas for the 4th of July, twice, I have come to realize, i love this holiday! its my favorite hands done. it was so nuts. we had to drop off elder anderson for an exchange so on the way back it was about 920 and everyone was shooting up fireworks. you would be driving and just see fireworks out of everyone’s yards. it was so intense that there was a mist of gun smoke covering the ground. it went all night just whistles and booms! it was a lot of fun. i think everyone needs to experience a Texas 4th of july! </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
Well, i love you guys. be safe and keep praying... that stuff really works! </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<br /></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">

Dear Mom,</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<span style="font-size: 12pt;"> Well today is the day... President Mortensen arrives this afternoon to the Texas Houston Mission. I am a little nervous but more excited. President Pingree will always have a strong place in my heart, but i feel i will be able to say the same for President Mortensen. I havent met him yet but he was called of God. I am excited to learn some new things from him and grow with him. I will meet him on Wednesday at Zone conference and then interviews the next week or so.</span></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
This week was the best send off to President Pingree that i could ask for. We had a Special Endowment training with Presidents Pingree and Crane (the Temple President). they asked us two questions. President Crane asked "Who are we?" and President Pingree asked "What Does it mean to offer Sacrifice in the name of the Only Begotten Of The Father?" It was the most amazing temple session i have ever done! afterwards we went and had an hour discussion with those 2 inspired men. i learned so much. the temple really is a holy place filled with love and beauty. we talked about how going to the temple is like going home. i love the temple because i feel that sense of home when i go there. it is so important to feel that in this world of shifting values. Our entire mission got to attend the temple over 4 days, my session set a Texas Houston record of 64 of us in an endowment session.</div>

we are working really hard over here. its a little slow but we are still trying hard to stay busy. we are trying to work with a lot more members cause they aren’t super missionary focused. that will change. We received a referral for this guy named Freddie wanting a book of mormon. we stop by and knock on the door and a guy named jordan answered the door and said that his husband wasnt home yet and for us to come back. we said okay and walk away. we get to the van, look at each other, and realize he said husband. it really caught us off guard. Anyway, we went back and had a nice little chat with Freddie and gave him the book of mormon. he is going to read it and we are going back in a couple of weeks! </div>

Well home sounds good! Everyone is happy and feeling better. JP is spoiled to say the least, she got so many toys. ha she will be a good older sister, just like mine. ha How is Sterlings calling to be a Mission Prep Teacher going? Dad, take it easy! I know how busy you are, be careful and good luck. Chandler, i am glad you are feeling better, same goes to you Ariel. Good luck with work you two!</div>

Dear Family,</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">

Well, this is a little crazy, as we all know i got transferred. i am now in a town in the south of the mission called Katy. just take the I-10 15-20 hours and take the Fry Exit and you will be at my apartment. its really strange, but its nice to feel a little at home here in this new area. Transfers are always hard, going from one place that you know everything thats going on to knowing absolutely nothing. i feel like i am just a dead weight, but it will get better this week. just got to be patient, right? </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
We aren’t working with anyone really exciting at the moment, but we are working hard. this area drives a van, but we go biking some days. i had to get a bike from a less active member. i went biking for the first time on friday... i did alright. i only biffed one time. i was trying to take a corner too fast and went into the road then tried to get back on and just crashed pretty hard core, a little scrap on my elbow, but i am doing just fine. my butt hurt for about... it still kinda hurts. my legs are alright, just a little sore!</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
I am in a Trio. Elder Anderson and Satele. Anderson is from Gilbert Arizona. he is a good guy, besides the fact that he is a ASU fan..., but we are overcoming our differences. he has been out a year, has been here 5 transfers, he is getting ready to get out of here, but we are working hard, and he is the other zone leader with me. Finally in a companionship with the other zone leader. My new zone has 14 companionships. its one of the biggest in the mission. Elder Satele is from America Samoa, ha he is funny, a little crazy, but that is to be expected! he has short ties and it reminds me of sterling. ha </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
Well, thanks for the videos. its so strange to see zoey swimming. that hasnt happened ever in that pool. i am glad everyone had fun at lake powell. sorry about all the rats! i am glad you guys had such a victory in the end! ha i am glad Aaron came and had a good time. Dad, you are looking really good. maybe when i leave this area i will look as good as you! ha Lace, i hope little JP is feeling better. Chandler, i hope you get home safe. Ariel, i am glad you are liking your job. I hope all goes well. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
Well, i love all of you! please remember that the church is true, and the gospel of Jesus Christ really can make a huge change in your life!</div>

well this week was interesting. Aunt Bernice came and that was really sorta strange. like i didnt know how to act a little bit, but it was so fun. i took them to a BBQ place in town. i tried to get them to go to the Baptist Church BBQ, but they thought we were going to get mugged cause West was all BYU-ed out. they gave me the stuff for Rice crispy treats and i made them... they were alright, not as good as yours, but they worked. i took a picture. i tried so hard, but it will get better with time right? right. one day i will be a pro. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
well this week was a lot of driving. we had MLC this week down in Spring and it was really good. it was president pingrees last one, so of course he left with a Bang!!!! he talked about Spiritual Awakenings, it was really good. i so want to keep in touch with him. he might be busy being an apostle though, who knows. we also had zone meeting this friday and it was awesome. Our new STL gave me about 5 minutes to give my part of the meeting and i did it. haha got to love a challenge right. ha </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
one of our youth was from Korea and he is leaving to go back there this week. We went to his eagle court of honor, that was really fun. we talked to a few of our investigators that were there. it was a lot of fun. we also started to play basketball with some guy and we are now his friends. ha i will keep you up to date on how that goes, ha, but we had dinner with him and his parents yesterday. a member that was sitting next to me is kinda a jokester and whenever he would say a joke, brother Nam (from korea) would ask for a translation that then took about 7-10 minutes... he felt really bad. haha </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
Lauren got baptized this week. it was amazing. she was so happy and prepared. she was giddy the whole time. it was my first baptism and i did mess up a little bit. i didnt dip her down enough, but it all worked out. she was crying the whole time. Baptism is really a miracle. there is no other time where mortal humans can feel that amount of love, and God gives us the opportunity to go into the water and have all of our sins washed away so we can return to live with Him again. ahhh just so cool!! </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
well i feel like most of my family really forgot about me… Lake Powell, new houses, and a little baby named juniper. ha just kidding, but i hope all is going well. i am glad to know everyone is happy. i hope G-pa C is feeling better. chan, my prayers are out to you! </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
well a cool thing that happened this week... hmmm well, this past week we had to go buy some chocolate chips for the rice crispies so we go to walmart at about 830 in the evening, and as we were walking in i say to elder lamb "there is going to be someone we can invite to learn." so the whole time i am trying to keep my eyes peeled for people to invite, and no one even wants to talk to us. so we walk all the way down to the end of the cashiers and stand in a long line. i start to make small talk about some red box movies this guy had. then he starts asking us about the church and gives us an opportunity to testify to him. it was a cool way the Lord answered my prayer.</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
well yall have fun. dont get caught in a white squa and wear sunscreen... and play a round of the rock game for me!!</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">

<span style="font-size: 12pt;"> Man, what a week. it has been super crazy!!!, and man i am feeling it... between running from appointment to appointment, going down to the temple, and providing crap tons of service, i am pooped! hopefully i can fill you in with what is going on as life of a missionary in the best mission in Texas (AKA the world). </span></div>

we have been working with lauren a lot this week. you know, trying to get everything ready for her baptism coming up, working on the program, getting clothes, you know the good stuff. she texted us today and asked if I would baptize her. i am really excited. i havent been asked to do that yet so it will be a first for both of us, so that will be exciting. she really is awesome, the changes she has made are amazing. i feel like i talk about her all the time, but she is awesome. y'<span style="background-color: transparent;">all will need to meet her one day, she is awesome!</span></div>

i was texting julio this week. if yall dont remember him, he was baptized in magnolia with Elder Su'a and I. he has almost read the whole book of Mormon, he is so great. he hasn’t been able to come to church since he got baptized because of work and such, but i think things are going to change so he can get the priesthood and then go to the temple. ahh so exciting. There is no greater joy than missionary work, that is something that has been very apparent as we have been working this week, which is cool because it all came after a really low point in the week. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
here is a cool little miracle for yall back at home, a member of our ward went to Home Depot after a church function where he was dressed up in a suit, and while he was checking out the cashier asked him why he was dressed up. he tells her that he came from church. she told him that she was looking for a church. our member got all of her information and proceeded to give it to us. we gave her a call and set up an appointment for wednesday of last week. She and her roommate sat in on the lesson and she really enjoyed it. we set up another appointment and we are really hopeful for her. they both are really awesome and have just been searching for the truth!!! i am so excited!!! </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
Well everyone seems pretty happy at home. the pictures and videos are awesome. keep them coming. Dad, every time i hear from you i just end up laughing really hard. i am really blessed with a great dad. i cant wait to be home and be able to bike and golf with the boys. its going to be such a fun time. Mom, i hope your week was good. Sterling, be safe. Chandler, i hope all goes well with your G-Pa. Lace, its weird to see you in the water with a baby. haha crazy me. i hope all is going well with your move and such! Ariel, i am glad you are safe and all is going well. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
Well this saturday was nuts. we were asked to clean the church building so we went to do that at 9. that took about an hour and we were going to help move someone into our ward at 1:30. on our way home the sisters called and said that there is someone who is moving into our ward right now. so we go and help them move in. it was so hot and muggy. it was an upstairs apartment and just a little crazy. then after some pizza we walk back to the sisters and our car and their front tire is totally flat. so we spend the next hour changing their tire. then when we get to the other move it starts to rain... that doesnt stop us!!! we just keep on chugging along!!! so that move was hot and muggy too and also upstairs. needless to say, that is a reason i may be pooped!!! </div>

<span style="color: black;">Dearest mother,</span></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<span style="color: black;"> </span><span style="color: black; font-size: 12pt;"> Happy Memorial Day everyone. It sounds like everyone is having a great time. My week was pretty busy, let’s see if I can fill you in on most of it. </span></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<span style="color: black;"> Monday: we went to the summer institute class with Lauren, which was awesome. I am so excited to jump into that when I get home. Then we had a FHE where we played ninja on campus. Needless to say I am a warrior and not a sheep. </span></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<span style="color: black;"> Tuesday: we drove everywhere looking for less actives. It wasn't super successful, but that evening we had dinner with Lauren and met a crazy guy, story later! </span></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<span style="color: black;"> Wednesday: we had zone conference. It was President Pingree’s last one. I am devastated beyond all belief. He talked about do we want to please God or man. Then one of the aps goes home this transfer so there will be a new ap with the new mission president. Let's see how that goes </span></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<span style="color: black;"> Thursday: we helped our investigator, Brandon, set up for a fundraiser on Friday for JTB (journey through Bethlehem ) so we set up chairs and tables. We stapled a lot of things and just helped around. </span></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<span style="color: black;"> Friday: was the Gala. We got there at 2:30 and were working on setting up and just doing other things and we were on our feet serving till 9:30. Man, that was a crazy day. everything basically fell though so we only had 11 servers for 350 people and the caterer dropped so we had to help prepare the food. ha it was pretty hectic, but it all worked out.</span></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<span style="color: black;"> Saturday: we went to College Station to get our oil changed and to do an exchange. so we get up there and the place we were going to go was closed and the other place we could go to was super packed. we got in around 230 and didn’t get our car till 745. it was a really long day. we just hung out at the park with the sisters who also had to get their oil changed. then the exchange fell through too so i just picked up my comp and we didn’t end up getting home till 1025, ugh. long day!</span></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<span style="color: black;"> Sunday: we whet to check on some people who moved into the ward and they want their names removed. saddest thing ever I have had to do. then just saw some members and some not progressing investigators.</span></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<span style="color: black;"> But that was me…. sounds like everyone is doing good. Chandler, is such a boss getting a big boy job! and lacey is doing whatever lacey does. Ariel, taking it easy, sounds like my kinda life. Sterl, work hard and be safe. Dad, you are awesome as always. Mom, glad you are staying busy!!!</span></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<span style="color: black;"> so back to that crazy guy on Tuesday. we are talking to him and he tells us a story how he went to "hell." first it started with how he took a hit of acid which was 4 times bigger than normal, then he walked outside and demons were flying and spitting on him, and this story goes on and on for a good 5 minutes, then he found Jesus. So moral of that story, dont do acid....</span></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<br /></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<span style="color: black;">i love all of you guys. be safe and have a good Memorial Day!!!</span></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<br /></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">

Wow, talk about a busy week. it was really hectic with everything going on this week. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
We are teaching a lot, which is good. Lauren, our investigator, picked a baptismal date for june 7th!!! i am so excited for her! she really is remarkable. you want to talk about someone really letting the spirit into her heart, look at this woman. she comes from a very intense Baptist background, had a lot of faults with the church when we first started teaching her, but now she has really given her will to the Father and is doing awesome! she sent us a text a little while ago asking for some advice. the advice we gave her was to read the scriptures, and really that is the answer to everything. my whole mission i have had a fear of going less active after my mission because i hear so many stories of that happening and i just dont want that to be me. Well, i was sitting and thinking about it the other day and it hit me, if i dont want to be less active i need to read my scriptures. then another thought came, that is one of the easiest things in theory to do, but so many people dont make time for it. this gospel isnt the easiest thing to live, a disciple of Christ isnt the path of least resistance. the Scriptures talk about a "mighty change of heart" that is turning our heart to the Father saying "Thy will be done" and making those hard decisions. with that being said, reading your scriptures has so much power. simply reading those words have all the power to cast the adversary out of out mists. in the MTC Elder C. Scott Grow came and spoke about making the words of the scriptures our words. that is how we can forever have the spirit with us. speak with the power of Abinidi, Paul, Alma, Nephi, Isaiah (maybe not as confusing as Isaiah) but you get my drift. back to lauren, she is great and is reading with more intent and focus. the lord really gives us trials to strengthen us. i have a testimony of that, hands down.</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
we met with Ron this week, and he is awesome! he wants to go to the temple soon, so we are going to help him set up an appointment with the bishop to get that ready to go. he is a Chaplin for hospice and was talking to one of his patients and he quoted conference. he said that the words just came to him, flooded his mind as he says. isnt the spirit so cool? it was just what that man needed to hear and it built Ron’s testimony so much! i have met so many remarkable people here. this man is one of them! </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
this week the College Station 2nd Zone (CS2Z) had some pretty crazy things happen. one of the companionships were at each other’s throats this week. the other zone leader and i had to take them into a room and talk with them separately. Sterling, now i know what you meant when you said babysitting, crazy!</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
Well, congrats to the people that graduated Ariel, Chandler and Lacey! yall rock!!! Westly and Stacia, i am so stoked that you are moving to texas! dont be alarmed with the amount and size of American and Texas flags. Also, if you see the Texas flag flying at the same height as the American flag, that isnt a mistake. they do that here... it threw me for a loop at first. Sterling, i hope you make your house looks good for when i move in. ha…who knows. ha Chandler, good luck at your job. Dad, dont hurt yourself. i really do miss football! it will be good to watch the playoffs when i get home! </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
Well, this week we played soccer with the youth and it was really fun. one of the recently baptized YW brought her brother who has now starting calling himself a Mormon, but isnt baptized. he is a boss. we are going to start teaching him soon. then we needed another player so we asked this guy to play with us. we started talking to him who, and he was really interested. we are going to start teaching him this week!!! good things are happening over here</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
I Love all of you!!!</div>

Dear Mom, </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
<span style="font-size: 12pt;"> Well i am staying put another 6 weeks. which i am not too upset about. i really do love this area, its just different. its really going to be sad because the YSA ward is dissolving so i dont know what i am going to do with all of our time now. i think it will all work out. one of the sisters is getting transferred too so we will see how we can make it happen. </span></div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
this week was really busy, which is good, but now i am so tired. the past 3 days i couldnt wake up, #MissionaryProbs. we have been working with the girl we took to the temple this week a lot, and she is progressing really well. we met with her on Tuesday outside on campus. we had a really good lesson about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. she was really receptive and really liked it. as we were finishing up we ran into a Recent Convert who is now really less active. so he starts talking to us and her. we had another appointment so we say our goodbyes and go off. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
this weekend we had a institute summer party at a member’s house. they had a pool, awesome food, the whole shi-bang. let me tell you something, being in pants, and a shirt and tie isn’t the best for a swim party. no worries, i rolled my pants and sleeves up to get some sun. yeah it was quite the site. the biggest thing was that the girl that i have been talking about came to that as well. she loved it. everyone had so much fun. after getting my tan on we went and played soccer with a Less Active for another hour after that. needless to say, i may have gotten too much sun. i needed it though, i was so white i was like a ghost. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
this Sunday was stake conference. it was really good. i dont know if this happened at home, but President Pingree spoke. really i cant say enough good things about those two. they are such an important part of my life now. i know the new Mission President will do just great. Guess who came to conference as well??? your right our #1 investigator. talk about commitment. she loved it. she had friends that she made at the party on Saturday and talked to them for an hour afterward. she got invited to institute graduation and the CES Devo up in college station with the YSA Branch. she is really so awesome! she called us after church asking how many pamphlets we have and if we could meet before she goes to college station. we of course jump on that and say yes! we met her at the church and she was a little nervous. she tell us that she wants to be baptized! how exciting is that. she really is great. she then tells us that she when she decided to be baptized. Turns out that the RC that talked to her after the lesson on Tuesday followed her out to her car and started telling her that what we are teaching her is wrong and that he wants to tell us the "truth" but he doesn’t want to hurt our friendship. so as he is telling her all of this she told us that that is when she knew what we have been saying is true and now she wants to get baptized! she needs to still tell her family, which will be pretty hard for her so prayer will help that.</div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
Man you guys are awesome!! every sounds like everyone is doing awesome! Sterl and Ariel are awesome home owners. Sterl, dont listen to lace. she is just jealous of you beard. congrats on Institute Graduation this week! Lace and Chan, yall are awesome! i am glad JP is growing up so much! she will probably be able to beat me up when i get home. Dad, i want to go to the black so bad when i get back!!! we have to go. i am glad to hear Aunt Cheryl is doing better! she is so great. </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
Man, so this week we got invited to Fiesta for a Less active member in the Spanish program. most awkward experience of my life. no one spoke English except for us and an 11 year old. needless to say we became good friends. Elder Rios was loving it saying "it reminds me of home." there was so many people at the little trailer. the speaker was a big Ipod!!! yeah it was quite intense. we were offered a few beers and such... lets just say. God knew what he was doing when he put me in the English Program... </div>
<div class="ecxMsoNormal" style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 22.719999313354492px; margin-bottom: 1.35em;">
And Every one Go Get your Cinco De Mango! at Eegees!!! if yall ever find a way to get some of that to me i will be your friend forever! </div>
